CHALLENGE

One plant, hundreds of machines, thousands of employees. How do you quickly obtain technical data for a specific piece of equipment? How to obtain the workstation manual for the selected location? These were the questions that one of our customers, Zakład Gospodarki Odpadami, struggled with when looking for an effective solution. When a machine failure was detected, the person responsible for reporting or repairing it needed a lot of detailed information. Employees wasted a lot of time finding the necessary documents, which significantly affected the productivity of the entire team

PROCESS FLOW

After deploying radio transmitters around the site, we placed QR codes on machines and equipment. Documentation was assigned to each of them. Employees received phones with access to the mobile application as standard.

SOLUTION

With InnerWeb’s solutions, an employee, while at the machine, can scan its QR code and check its documentation in detail. In addition, while at the nearest iBeacon, he can access documents assigned to the current location. In situations where an employee cannot connect to any beacon, such as being away from work or wanting to check the documentation of a machine that is far away, he can select a location of interest from a list of locations. Using the InnerWeb system makes it possible to reach information and documents anywhere and anytime in just a few seconds. This definitely simplifies the execution of tasks and the transfer of information.
