CYCLIC INSPECTIONS - CASE STUDY

INNERWEB SYSTEM

Inspection of technical inspections is particularly important in manufacturing companies that use tools and measuring instruments in the production process, as well as in industrial, construction and assembly companies that regularly inspect power tools and health and safety equipment for safety and trouble-free operation.

CHALLENGE

Regular inspections of the technical and functional condition of machinery and equipment carried out at specified intervals are crucial to the efficiency, durability and safety of their users. At one of our clients – a service company in the FM (facility management, or property management) industry – periodic inspections of various equipment and systems are carried out almost every day. How not to overlook this process? How to ensure a safe workplace and keep equipment in good shape for as long as possible?

Need to perform regular maintenance on hundreds of machines and vehicles

Risk of skipping an inspection, which can generate unexpected costs

Recording and remembering important processes and activities for regular repetition.

PROCESS FLOW

In order to streamline the company’s necessary procedures, after deploying radio transmitters in the hall, we distributed phones with the InnerWeb application to employees. The client filled out a designated file in the form of a script that broke down all the tasks to be reviewed and assigned a coordinator, a scheduled completion date, a recurrence cycle and frequency. The selected team of employees at the specified time receives notification of the work to be done. The person performing the review has the ability to report progress and any discrepancies, items needing repair, etc.

SOLUTION

Using the InnerWeb system will eliminate errors such as missed inspections, reducing the risk of machine breakdowns and ensuring a safe workplace.

A production hall equipped with hundreds of specialized machines requires constant care of all the elements to make them last as long as possible, which is why it is so important to do it regularly and have confirmation that the task has been completed at the location at the appointed time. Communication in terms of delegating tasks and reporting on their completion is definitely easier and faster.

In addition, in the application history, all data is saved and the administrator can check at any time when and by whom the inspection was performed. Fast reporting reduces the risk of costs associated with machine breakdown and downtime that could occur through missed inspection and service.
